How we charge: We price per element, such as an extension, loft conversion or internal refurbishment. The total cost of your estimate is based on how many elements your project includes.
Basic Estimate
£90 flat fee
Next working day
Priced from average square-metre rates for each type of work. We don't analyse the drawings in depth, just the main, obvious parts of the layout, and build the figure as a general summary by build phase rather than itemised task by task. Delivered as a branded, exportable PDF.
Ideal for: Builders who need a quick, reliable ballpark without the cost of a full breakdown.
Detailed Estimate

A template-driven, per-element estimate built to our standard format. We measure and scale your drawings to pull real quantities, floor areas, door counts, light points and the like wherever they're shown, then price each element against those quantities using our standard material specifications. Covers garage conversions, external works, outbuildings, basements, lofts, extensions, refurbishments and new builds up to 4 bedrooms.
Ideal for: Builders preparing detailed client quotes, contractors managing phased projects, and developers seeking budget clarity.
Custom Estimate
£90 per hour
Priced after drawings review
An upgraded Detailed Estimate for projects that go beyond the standard elements. We price the extra tasks that fall outside a normal per-element breakdown and work to your own material specifications wherever you need something specific. We review your drawings first, then agree the scope, price and delivery.
Ideal for: Anyone whose project needs bespoke tasks or materials beyond the standard breakdown.
Tender Estimate
£90 per hour
Priced after drawings review
Tailored to the architect's specifications and tender documents, priced against their exact materials and requirements rather than a standard spec. If the architect supplies a pricing spreadsheet, we fill it in line by line, ready to submit. Scope and delivery are agreed individually once we've reviewed the documents.
Ideal for: Contractors bidding competitive tenders who need dependable numbers.
All prices exclude VAT.

How much do construction estimating services cost?
A Basic Estimate is a flat £90 and arrives the next working day. Detailed Estimates run £110–£280 depending on project type. Tender and custom estimates are £90 per hour. All prices exclude VAT.
How fast can I get an estimate?
Basic Estimates are delivered the next working day. Detailed Estimates take 5 working days as standard, with a 2-day fast-track (+£50) and a next-day option (+£90, delivered before 1pm).
What do I need to send you?
Choose the service, then upload your notes, specifications or drawings. Drawings are optional for a Basic Estimate; tender and custom estimates are scoped after we review your documents.
What types of project do you estimate?
UK residential work: extensions, loft and basement conversions, garage conversions, internal refurbishments, outbuildings, external works and new builds up to 4 bedrooms. For anything unusual, the Custom Estimate covers it.
